PB&G

Protective Braids & Growth

PB&G stands for Protective Braids & Growth. This service prepares the hair for wigs, extensions, or long-term protective styling by creating a clean and secure braid-down that supports healthy hair growth. After the Wash Day ritual, the hair is gently stretched and braided using our signature technique to keep the scalp comfortable while protecting the hair from tension and breakage.

Set It Off

Root Reset

The Root Reset is a restorative service designed specifically for clients with locs. After a deep cleansing and detoxifying wash, the scalp is refreshed and the locs are carefully retwisted to restore neatness while maintaining healthy tension.

This service focuses on scalp health, clean parts, and maintaining the integrity of the loc structure.

The 'Growing Hands' Program

The Growing Hands Program is Wash Day’s structured hair growth system designed to support healthy length retention through protective styling and consistent scalp care.

Clients begin the program with our PB&G (Protective Braids & Growth) foundation, where the hair is carefully braided down to protect the strands while reducing daily manipulation. Throughout the program, clients return regularly for Wash Day treatments that cleanse the scalp, restore moisture, and maintain the health of the hair without disturbing the protective style.

While enrolled in the Growing Hands Program, the braid foundation remains in place and is only taken down periodically to assess hair health, trim ends if necessary, and reset the protective style. This low-manipulation approach helps reduce breakage while allowing the hair to grow stronger over time.

The program is ideal for clients who want to focus on long-term hair health and growth while trusting their hair to trained professionals who understand how to protect and nurture textured hair.
